National Population and Development Strategy for Egypt (2023 - 2030)

The strategy was updated to align with the changes in population trends and to incorporate the findings from the evaluation of the previous executive plan. ​ The strategy aims to achieve a balance between population growth rates and economic growth, improve population characteristics, and reduce developmental disparities between geographic regions. ​ Efforts of the Egyptian state in implementing population policies include constitutional obligations, adherence to international agreements, and the launch of various initiatives to improve the well-being of citizens. The strategy also emphasizes the importance of human rights, women and children's rights, and the rights of persons with disabilities.
