Egyptian Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan 2015-2030

Egypt undertakes effective and innovative actions to reduce biodiversity loss and ensure that, by 2030, ecosystems continue to provide services for all Egyptian citizens and that pressures on biodiversity are reduced. This strategy also ensures that biological resources are sustainably used and benefits of using genetic resources are shared in a fair and equitable manner.  It seeks to mainstream biodiversity issues and values and to effectively implement appropriate policies in a participatory approach.
