The Palestine Data Strategy (PDS) 2022-2026, prepared by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), aims to transform and modernize the Palestinian National Statistical System (NSS) to better support evidence-based decision-making and the monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

- Invest in data management, including gathering, secured transfer, processing, and use.
- Promote data science and build a data-driven culture within the country.

Objectives:
- Focus on quality and excellence in data management and production of official statistics.
- Improve trust and confidence in statistics.
- Raise awareness among users on the importance of quality statistics for evidence-based decision-making.
- Enhance compliance with international norms and standards.

- Address foundations of the data ecosystem, focusing on human resources and necessary technologies.
- Improve data governance and stewardship.
- Enhance data analytics.
- Execute large statistical operations (surveys and censuses) to validate socio-economic and cultural patterns regularly.
