Iraq Restoration of agriculture and water systems sub-programme 2018-2020

This sub-programme aims to improve food security and nutrition, and to reduce poverty for the rural and peri-urban populations of Anbar, Diyala, Kirkuk, Ninewa, and Salah al-Din conflict-affected governorates – including both returnees and remainees – through the restoration of irrigation water systems, crop and livestock production systems and value chains, and support to stakeholder evidence-based agrifood systems planning, programming, and monitoring and evaluation.
