Agriculture Sector Green Growth National Action Plan 2021-2025

The Agriculture Sector Green Growth Action National Action Plan 2021-2025 focuses on five pillars: enhanced natural capital, sustainable economic growth, social development and poverty reduction, resource efficiency, and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
​The plan includes 14 priority actions aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation, such as upgrading packaging and storage, promoting organic agriculture, establishing an agricultural insurance company, implementing a national afforestation program, and supporting rural green growth and employment through ecosystem restoration. ​ The plan aligns with Jordan's green growth objectives and aims to integrate principles of inclusive, sustainable economic growth into the agriculture sector while addressing environmental and climate change challenges.
