Save Lives and Respond to Needs Through Humanitarian Assistance and Protection
Objectives:
- Provide life-saving humanitarian assistance to newly displaced IDPs, refugees, and populations affected by man-made or natural hazards.
- Improve living conditions for IDPs, refugees, and returnees in protracted displacement situations by ensuring access to essential services and livelihood opportunities.
- Assist crisis-affected host communities where services are unavailable or overstretched.
- Support internal and international migrants in need of direct assistance or movement assistance including humanitarian evacuation.
- Build capacity of stakeholders including government, NGOs, CSOs, and CBOs to provide life-saving services to crisis-affected and vulnerable communities.

Address the Drivers and Longer-Term Impacts of Crises and Displacement, Supporting Durable Solutions and Investing in Crisis Prevention
Objectives:
- Improve access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in transitional and post-crisis situations.
- Promote community stabilization by addressing the drivers and effects of forced displacement and irregular migration.
- Facilitate durable solutions for IDPs, returnees, and refugees by supporting voluntary return, integration, or resettlement.
- Enhance peacebuilding and conflict resolution mechanisms to mitigate future conflicts and promote social cohesion.
- Strengthen health systems and include migrants in health strategies to build resilience against public health threats.

Strengthen Preparedness and Reduce Disaster Risk
Objectives:
- Develop disaster risk reduction (DRR) strategies and mechanisms to prevent displacement triggered by natural hazards and environmental degradation.
- Build community resilience to future disaster risks through early warning systems and capacity building of local authorities and communities.
- Implement emergency preparedness measures to improve humanitarian response and services during crises.
- Strengthen health components of preparedness and risk reduction by training local health workers and pre-positioning essential medical supplies.
Pillar:
Contribute to an Evidence-Based and Efficient Crisis Response System
Objectives:
- Regularly capture, process, and provide multi-layered information products on displaced and mobile populations to inform humanitarian assistance and response.
- Use displacement tracking methodologies to monitor population movements and provide updates on the scale of displacement.
- Conduct multi-sectoral needs assessments to identify sectoral needs of affected populations and improve coordination among humanitarian partners.
- Provide rapid emergency and biometric registrations to guide direct assistance to vulnerable people.
